This practical course was dedicated to the collective exploration of the process of creating an aural film—a film that exists in the realm of sound and does not use image as the primary medium. We delved into different methods of narrative construction and storytelling modes in experimental cinema; and practise Deep Listening to the sound environment, both collectively and individually. We looked for specific locations within and around the University grounds for engaging in both visual and auditory observations. Based on these observations and the collected material, everyone created a short aural film in the second part of the course.
